Not belief, and not debunking. The workbooks take the position that your own experience is data worth collecting properly – that if you write down what happened, separate it from what you decided it meant, and look at the record again six months later, you learn something either way. The tools are unglamorous: a pen, a date, and the discipline to keep going when nothing seems to be happening.
He came to this from twenty years of walking into complicated situations and working out what was actually going on in them. It turns out that’s most of the job here too.
The “I” Package begins with the body, because that’s the instrument you’re using, and everything you notice arrives through it.
